By ALL Means you can install FreeBSD on such a system. When Finished Downloading/purchacing CD for FreeBSD, read the docs, they will give you enough info. NB: don;t forget to get the /tools directory you'll find a nifty program called fips, that WILL HELP YOU ALOT.
