Hi I've just taken a relook at my portconf idea, and wondered whether people are just apathetic toward it, or have any problems with it? In any case, I've written a very basic perl version, which calls dialog, so that it doesn't need to link to libxml, or use any perl modules, and wonder what people think. It's not finished, obviously, I just want some feedback. As a recap, it's supposed to provide a standard way to describe the ways you can configure a port build, so people don't need to read the Makefile itself to find out. It comes with a basic perl/dialog version, theoretically living in the ports tree itself, and also a more intelligent C/libdialog/libxml version, and C/gtk/libxml version.
