I don't have general problems with it, only when using the box as a heavy-loaded NFS server. And it did make no difference to replace the adapter by an 1542CF. I will yet have to dig further, take stack traces etc. The basic symptom was that it hung unable being to do disk io, only DDB continued to work. Jörg
