We plan to install about 40 FreeBSD PC's as firewalls, so the "gold
disk" will be locked down as tight at we can.

What's are the options available in software only for replicating the
gold disk to 40 IDE drives?

Or should we just get an IDE RAID board from Duplidisk or 3ware and
do a hardware mirror?

I see one of the later ABIT or was Asus mobo's has on-board IDE RAID
but I don't if that board + RAID would be happy under FreeBSD.

Thanks,
Len
