This is good :-), but how do I get new kernel files?
Before I have just been using my old ones and adding lines that i find
useful later, but I think It would be useful to get a new LINT file once
in a while to keep up.  

Does it cause any problems if I let the kernel get out of date and keep
upgrading the system binaries with "make world" ?  For example I have my
kernel at 2.1.5-RELEASE and I sup the -current or -stable tree and make
world.  Am I forced to rebuild the kernel becuase the binaries have
changed?

Sorry to be so picky, but It makes a difference when trying to upgrade
properly.
