I have removed my additional jobs from /etc/crontab and adding them to root's crontab (/var/cron/tab/root i think) "via crontab -e" whilst logged in as root. (ie not by editing the file directly) However i still get the above message - what does it mean - and why are the jobs not running? After all, they did when i added them (incorrectly) to /etc/crontab and then did "crontab -u root /etc/crontab". Should i instead add them to /etc/crontab and bring them up, as root, via "crontab /etc/crontab" ? help rudi To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
