Janet, I have the same card, but can't test it because it's linked to a switch. I need full-duplex. Try using the mediaopt flag. ifconfig ep0 a.b.c.d mediaopt half-duplex netmask 255.x.y.z should do it. The mediaopt flag is mentioned in the ifconfig man page. -Otter }-----Original Message----- }From: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG }[mailto:owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG]On Behalf Of }Janet Sullivan }Sent: Sunday, November 26, 2000 6:14 AM }To: freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG }Subject: 3c574-TX PCMCIA NIC } } }Is there a way to force a 3c574-TX PCMCIA NIC into half-duplex mode? }The ep driver doesn't seem to allow this.
