You can, but you'll have a heck of a time booting it since your BIOS only
recognies the first two IDE disks for booting purposes.  Using a smart
boot selector should work for you though.

Yes it is a function of your BIOS.  If Linux works then FreeBSD should
too.

You need to install bash first.
