does anyone have any documentation on the procedure for installing the bind-8.2 port on 2.2.7-release? When I installed the port it hasn't removed the version that came installed with the operating system (4.9.7). Do I just work my way through the port description and remove any old copies such as /usr/sbin/named and /usr/sbin/dig and the old man pages underr /usr/share/man ? I searched through the archives and couldn't find anything specific to my problem and had a bit of a look at www.isc.org but it appeared that their information was more bind specific than bind on freebsd. could you please include me in any replies as I am not subscribed to the list. thanks in advance Andrew Perry andrew@shoal.net.au To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
