I was googeling for the problem yesterday. The only page that seemed to describe a similar problem was written in Japanese, so it didn't help me much... :-) Can I do something else to find the bug? I have reproduced it on two machines here, however, with the same version of FreeBSD running. > > Besides I have noticed that the program crashs when selecting > > new->presentation right after starting. Then upgrade your sources > to FreeBSD STABLE. It just trys to open the presenter's first window, but only gets to drawing the frame for it. After that it hangs; I can kill the process and I can also use CTRL-C to terminate the problem, so crash is maybe the wrong term. My systems are 4.6-release-p1. Trying out -stable would take some time (it's only Celeron 366). Do I have to recompile OO to get rid of the problem or is updating to -current do it? Meanwhile I have found out that Opening a Spreadsheet, then again a Text and then the Presentation also works. It only hangs when I try to open a presentation right after starting the program. > PS: Write to openoffice@freebsd.org only next time. We have a special > mailinglist for this port. Sorry, of couse. I just hit the eMail-adress on the FreeBSD-Ports webpage for OO and it inserted a CC: to ports@ automatically. cu Gerrit -- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-openoffice" in the body of the message
