can someone please send a win98.nvram?  i suspect that my inability to boot
a raw win98 partition may be because the nvram has the ide disabled.  and,
because i can't boot, i can't set the nvram.  grrr.

inability to mount a floppy in the guest system once took me days to chase
down, and it was that the pseudo-nvram did not have the floppy enabled.
