Date: Fri, 29 May 1998 22:22:43 +0200 From: Stefan Eggers Sender: owner-freebsd-doc@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.org Hi! As I have to write a small man page for a program lacking one (it will go into the ports collection) I was looking for some documentation in my system's filesystem. I did find documentation on the me and mm macros and the like but nothing which seemed like explaining in short the troff macros used for man pages. Where should I look for documentation on man page writing? More than a list of commands and for those with pitfalls some small remarks on usage it needn't be for me. Of course I could try to get it from looking at other man pages as well but I'd prefer some docs. Stefan.
