Is that an ATAPI (IDE) drive or the Creative proprietary kind? My
Creative 4x ATAPI, piece of crap though it is, works most of the time.
AFAIK all the proprietary interface models should work just fine.
To get my drive to be recognised it had to be connected as the slave
on the primary IDE controller.
