I have not rebuilt CVS using the proxy patch, but according to posts it doesn't appear to allow you to use an HTTP proxy anyway. The windows and mac versions have settings for using a proxy, but my server kicks back saying that it doesn't allow tunneling. I know that this is not necessarily a doc question, so I apologize to those of you who are offended.
