I created RAID5 array with this controller (it was 5-prerelease that time), both raidutil and dptmgr worked. Now I need to add disks to the array, but these utilities fail to establish the connection with the following error message: osdIOrequest : File /dev/rdptr17 Could Not Be Opened What should I do to make them work? Another question is about on-the-fly rebuild of the RAID5 array. I have read on the adaptec.com that it is supported only under NT4/W2K. Is it really impossible to accomplish this under FreeBSD, in combination with fdisk/disklabel/growfs? Maybe not on the fly, but without destroying the array? Thanks a lot, Alex
