No. The information in sysinstall is for XFree86 version 3! XFree86 version 4 is still not "officially" part of FreeBSD. If anything, the port should be changed to mention the problem. If you don't miss using moused, and you have spare serial ports, then more power to you. I have very limited serial ports and I really want moused behavior so I can use the mouse on the various console terms.
