you have 'device wcd0' and 'options "ATAPI"' in your kernel-config ?
and you see something like:
wdc0: unit 1 (atapi): <FX001DE/E02>, removable, intr, iordis
wcd0: 299Kb/sec, 128Kb cache, audio play, 255 volume levels, ejectable tray
wcd0: no disc inside, unlocked
at bootup ?
then it should work and you should use /dev/wcd0c to mount the disc !
