This is a multi-part message in MIME format. --------------050007090402050809050805 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Please CC me on any replies. I do not subscribe to gnome. TIA. I was running a portupgrade on my 5.1-CURRENT desktop and I ran into problems. I think I have narrowed the problem down to libbonoboui. At least, I can recreate the failure on demand with a make in libbonoboui. From the messages, it appears a script called missing is either too old or missing. I searched the gnome archives and I found a few other postings but I did not find an answer that sounded solid. One that looked promising was to reinstall ORBit2 but that did not seem to fix the problem. I also tried cvsuping ports-all and that did not seem to help either. I'm attaching the suggested documentation. If this is another FAQ, I don't get it. TIA for any help. Cheers... --------------050007090402050809050805 Content-Type: text/plain; name="libbonoboui.msgs" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline; filename="libbonoboui.msgs" Script started on Sat Oct 4 12:21:04 2003 Stargate# pwd /usr/ports/x11-toolkits/libbonoboui Stargate# mkae[K[K[K[Kmake ===> libbonoboui-2.4.0 depends on executable: gmake - found ===> libbonoboui-2.4.0 depends on file: /usr/local/libexec/libtool13/libtool - found ===> libbonoboui-2.4.0 depends on file: /usr/X11R6/libdata/pkgconfig/gnome-mime-data-2.0.pc - found ===> libbonoboui-2.4.0 depends on executable: pkg-config - found ===> libbonoboui-2.4.0 depends on shared library: X11.6 - found ===> libbonoboui-2.4.0 depends on shared library: esd.2 - found ===> libbonoboui-2.4.0 depends on shared library: glib-2.0.200 - found ===> libbonoboui-2.4.0 depends on shared library: atk-1.0.400 - found ===> libbonoboui-2.4.0 depends on shared library: pango-1.0.200 - found ===> libbonoboui-2.4.0 depends on shared library: gtk-x11-2.0.200 - found ===> libbonoboui-2.4.0 depends on shared library: linc.1 - found ===> libbonoboui-2.4.0 depends on shared library: IDL-2.0 - found ===> libbonoboui-2.4.0 depends on shared library: ORBit-2.0 - found ===> libbonoboui-2.4.0 depends on shared library: glade-2.0.0 - found ===> libbonoboui-2.4.0 depends on shared library: xml2.5 - found ===> libbonoboui-2.4.0 depends on shared library: xslt.1 - found ===> libbonoboui-2.4.0 depends on shared library: bonobo-2.0 - found ===> libbonoboui-2.4.0 depends on shared library: gconf-2.5 - found ===> libbonoboui-2.4.0 depends on shared library: gnomevfs-2.400 - found ===> libbonoboui-2.4.0 depends on shared library: gnomecanvas-2.400 - found ===> libbonoboui-2.4.0 depends on shared library: art_lgpl_2.5 - found ===> libbonoboui-2.4.0 depends on shared library: gnome-2.400 - found ===> Configuring for libbonoboui-2.4.0 checking for a BSD-compatible install... /usr/bin/install -c -o root -g wheel checking whether build environment is sane... yes /usr/ports/x11-toolkits/libbonoboui/work/libbonoboui-2.4.0/missing: Unknown `--run' option Try `/usr/ports/x11-toolkits/libbonoboui/work/libbonoboui-2.4.0/missing --help' for more information configure: WARNING: `missing' script is too old or missing checking for gawk... no checking for mawk... no checking for nawk... nawk checking whether gmake sets $(MAKE)... yes checking whether to enable maintainer-specific portions of Makefiles... no checking for perl... /usr/bin/perl checking for style of include used by gmake...
