Hi,

Does there exist a card/driver combo that can define and tunnel vlans out
to an ethernet switch? IE: vlan0 is assigned an address 192.168.0.0/28,
vlan1 192.168.1.0/25, etc.

There is some sort of standard for this "vlan trunking" as I'll call it,
but I have seen no mention of it in the archives. I know this is a bit
unclear, but the end application is to buy a decent switch that supports
the protocol (like one of the Cisco Catalyst series) and not have to buy
an RSM card to define/control everything.

It's a long shot, but I thought I'd ask...

Thanks,

Charles
