However, the maintainer would not mind very much if the pngtopnm port disappears. In fact, it is probably a very good idea to not have two ports installing the same binaries and netpbm seems a place where this belongs. However, the port may be removed if and only if the maintainers of all the ports that depend on pnmtopng change the dependencies to netpbm and verify that everything still works for them.
