I suspect he wants more details about what ahc0 is. That said, I've got no problems with 4.0-STABLE (cvsup'ed within the last two or three days) on a Dell 1300/450 SMP with an on-board AIC-7890 and two additional Adaptec 2940U2W controllers, at least not with /stand/sysinstall claiming they don't exist. I've got some weird SCSI errors under stress that I haven't yet been able to pin down, but the OS recognizes that the drives are there and I was able to disklabel them, etc.... -- These are my opinions -- not to be taken as official Skynet policy ====================================================================== Brad Knowles, || Belgacom Skynet SA/NV Systems Architect, Mail/News/FTP/Proxy Admin || Rue Colonel Bourg, 124 Phone/Fax: +32-2-706.13.11/12.49 || B-1140 Brussels http://www.skynet.be || Belgium To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message
