hijacking the subject and making some comments...

the rc.* stuff managed to get me bit confused, so i think that the
"release" version of those rc.* files should clearly state where
and how exactly add information for ip aliases, and non-standard
routes... and leave some empty _space_ for people with a "fear" to
make that space...

i mean the way /etc/sysconfig had those explained was more clear...
