This is the steps I did cd /usr/src/usr.bin/sed sudo make build cd /usr/src sudo make buildworld It's not finished the build yet but its on the way. Since nobody else seems to have had this problem it probably isn't worth looking into too much further. If more people are bitten then perhaps an entry in /usr/src/UPDATING? Steve
