You could always use the 2.2 port of CAM.  There's a release available
here:

ftp://ftp.FreeBSD.ORG/pub/FreeBSD/development/cam/2.2CAM-19980716-SNAP/

We may have another snapshot out before too long.  (don't expect it before
this weekend, though.)
