I checked on hardkernel's web page and git repo and found that their u-boot support is also quite old (2015.01). Do you know how the status of the Pine64 is with FreeBSD? As Mark Millard's comment in the last message let me reckon, the support seems much better and overall, the Pine64 seems to me the best choice for the moment if someone desires a A64 architecure with 2GB RAM and 1Gbit NIC (compared to the Raspberry Pi3B).
