To make it work this far, I used the -c option at boot to use the BIOS commands, as my BIOS is not PnP-aware. Also, a curious question: What does the message "This is a CS4237 card, but LDN0 is disabled" mean? Anyone can see what's wrong in my kernel config file? Thanks in advance! /Juan Kuuse Here are my kernel config file, and the output from dmesg and pnpinfo: kernel config file: From /sys/i386/conf/QC: ####### PnP driver ########### controller pnp0 # this is required for PnP support ####### SOUND BOARDS ############## #Try pcm1 for PnP cards device pcm1 at isa ? port? tty irq 5 drq 1 flags 0x13 vector pcmintr #device pcm0 at isa? port 0x534 tty irq 5 drq 1 flags 0x0 vector pcmintr dmesg: Copyright (c) 1992-1998 FreeBSD Inc.
