Sure is! I'm doing the homework for my CMSC113 class using the gcc compiler under FreeBSD 2.0, which is version 2.6.2. Easiest to invoke it as g++, and the c++ includes are there in /usr/include/g++. Nice thing is, this is the same compiler the rest of my friends have to use by calling into overloaded campus machines, so I don't have to compete with hordes of others, and I get my work done quicker! ----------------------------+----------------------------------------------- Chuck Robey | Interests include any kind of voice or data chuckr@eng.umd.edu | communications topic, C programming, and Unix. 7608 Topton St. | New Carrollton, MD 20784 | I run Journey2 (Freebsd 2.0) and n3lxx (301) 459-2316 | (FreeBSD 1.1.5.1) and am I happy! ----------------------------+-----------------------------------------------
