The following reply was made to PR ports/108077; it has been noted by GNATS. From: =?windows-1251?b?wuDx6Ovo6SDP5fLw7uI=?= <larry@fantasyclub.ru> To: bug-followup@freebsd.org, apircalabu@bitdefender.com Cc: Subject: Re: ports/108077: www/linux-flashplugin9 crashes linux-firefox Date: Tue, 6 Feb 2007 02:45:06 +0700 Same problem on FreeBSD 6.2 with same version of flashplugin. Plugin crashes browser (or operapluginwrapper in case of opera as plugins seem to run under different process there) randomly after some (not much) time of work. Much faster when it is more then one active flash. Core dumps seem to have junked stack. I had much tests of this today and I don't think it is sound related (but I have no sound in this plugin too) because it crashes with or without installed linux-alsa-lib (I'm sure it used it when I install this port because I get messages from ALSA lib on console). So the sound issue should be made a separate pr. If this port needs libflashsupport.so or ALSA to work with sound it must be modified some way (by including libflashsupport.so or requiring ALSA lib). PS: ALSA lib seems to have not much use, I have no sound with it installed too.
