Im looking for som software (opensource) that's scalable to to plenty of remote backups over the Internet. The idea about this is offering small companys to do theire backup to a remote distance, and don't have to concer= n that much about it. The companys servers are generally NT 4.0 Server up to Windows2003. The backup system should be based on a FreeBSD 6.0 system. In the beginning it won't be that many companys doing remotebackups still, it should be easy grow with the jobs needed. Anyone have a pointer to what i should look for? Shoud the backups be done via a vpn solutions like "OpenVPN" and rsync? Or should i look for something else? Are there any "pitfalls" i should lookout for? Anyway any/all feedback is most appriciated. /Goran
