I'm sorry. I didn't realize that there was a convention for developers' packages. But I'm confused too. When you say $PORTNAME-devel, do you mean that this is the `development' version of the $PORTNAME. If so, this package is different. This is not a development version of cons. It actually is a test bed that cons developers can use to do regression testing of cons whenever they add new features.
