I initially hooked up a seagate medalist pro to the 68 pin internal port and everyting worked fine, My drive was recognized. I then purchased a toshiba 32x scsi cdrom and installed it to the 50 pin internal port. I have nothing on the external 68 pin port. When I have both connected only the cdrom is recognized and if I dissconnect the cdrom the hard drive is recon\gnized. I cannot get the hard drive recognized if the cdron is hooked up. Any suggestions. Please remember I am a scsi newbie Thanks Alot Rick Rick Knebel rknebel@csrlink.net http://rknebel.csrlink.net To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
