Thanks Kliment.

Actually, I am using the Pg module, not DBD::Pg, nor DBI.  As far as I
can tell, anyways.  I'm no expert on the intricacies of perl modules.

As far as I can see on CPAN, Pg has not changed since April 2000.
Perhaps it does not work with the new PostgreSQL?

Should I change my code to use DBD::Pg instead?
