   I've been trying to use the ctype module in a software, but it fails with
the following traceback:

from ctypes import SetPointerType, RTLD_GLOBAL
   exceptions.ImportError: cannot import name RTLD_GLOBAL

   Based on the info in this mail thread (
http://docs.freebsd.org/cgi/getmsg.cgi?fetch=488819+0+/usr/local/www/db/text/1999/freebsd-hackers/19990103.freebsd-hackers),
the flag RTLD_GLOBAL isn't implemented in freebsd yet, so I believe the port
should provide a workaround to it.
