i have a dell inspiron 3500 running 3.0-Release. i recently got a Hayes Optima 336 pccard modem. pccardd finds the modem and attaches it to sio3. when opening /dev/cuaa3, say in ppp, open() goes into never-never land, i.e. it hangs the process. i don't want to clutter inboxes so i will post config files if necessary. i just want to know if this is an unsolvable problem and if i should go ahead and buy another modem that is known to work with 3.0R. thanks, adon To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-mobile" in the body of the message
