All in all, RPM does have > some nice features though. Never used rpmfind but I must say that ports is a much easier thing to use. I've had problems installing rpm's due to dependenciaes (and perhaps there was a switch I was missing or something). It's nice having a central software depot to get apps and source from, even if upgrading is not as easy with ports as it is with rpm I will take ports any day of the week.
