I'm not saying it _has_ to be in X11, I'm saying that moving to /usr/local from X11 has (and will continue to) cause confusion and problems with current ports, and is counterintuitive. I wanted to know if there was some other overriding reason for the switch, but no one has chimed in about it. > > -- > Matthew Hunt <mph@pobox.com> * Inertia is a property of matter. > http://www.pobox.com/~mph/pgp.key for PGP public key 0x67203349. > > ----------------------------+----------------------------------------------- Chuck Robey | Interests include any kind of voice or data chuckr@glue.umd.edu | communications topic, C programming, and Unix. 213 Lakeside Drive Apt T-1 | Greenbelt, MD 20770 | I run Journey2 and picnic (FreeBSD-current) (301) 220-2114 | and jaunt (NetBSD). ----------------------------+----------------------------------------------- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
