I'm trying to install FreeBSD on a 386 with 8MB of RAM and a 258MB hard drive. When I get to the partitioning part of the installation, the computer locks up, or takes forever (let it run for about 8 hours). There is a 3COM 10BaseT ethernet card, vga video and an IDE controler card. What is wrong? How can I make it work? Thanks P.S. I looked in the FAQ and the Handbook, and didn't see any answers
