During installation, it displays the following line: "ips0: resetting adapter, this may take up to 5 minutes" And as you guess so, this is not a "5 minutes" thing. I gave the machine 1 HOLY day (!) and nothing changed. Tried to install with ACPI disabled, nothing changed. I want to use FreeBSD with a well-known Linux/Unix supporting server platform, IBM. But can't handle this problem even after trying a dozen combinations. This server's gonna be a mail server and this is a real urgent case. I don't wanna install another OS. Also I don't wanna disable its on-board components such as network adapter.
