Hi all,

My custom kernels under 3.4 won't load. They fail (register dump)
even before identifying themselves. The kernel from the CD is
fine.

As this was a new install, I just reloaded the release from CD.
Still no joy. Here's exactly what I did:

From the install menu, selected express/autopartition/load all software.
Reboot & login as root.

% cd /sys/i386/conf
% config GENERIC
% cd ../../compile/GENERIC
% make depend all install && reboot

System won't boot. Suggestions?

Thanks.
Kent
