This should be a simple question. When setting up the IP Rounting in FreeBSD do you have to do actual kernel program adjustments like in LINUX or is there some other way? The same question holds true for firwall development. If it takes the Kernal adjustments or some other program adjustments that require re-compling parts of the operating system to what extent will I should I be fimilar with, I would assume 'C'? I can read 'C' and have written a few applications in 'C'. I have access to individuals who are knowledgable in advance programming along with Advanced 'C'. So, I have someone resources to have questions answered as they arise. Although its going to me programming and making the changes, So I'm trying to research to see if I'm getting in over my head or not as I have not done any real low level programming. Any and all help will be appreacated. Thanks in advance! ^^^^^ ( 0 0 ) & ~ Michael Caughey.
