No biggie.  There is nothing really magical about /root, the only major
difference it has from a normal home directory is the .cshrc includes
the annoying "don't log in a root" line. 
Just recreate the directory, copy over the system dot files (dot.cshrc
dot.profile, etc...) and you should be fine.
