Unfortunately I have been unable to follow the last couple weeks of 
hackers mail, due to time constraints.

However, I have a box with -stable as of about the 3 of Feb, and I'm 
having a problem with the 3com 3c509B-TP just freezing up in it for no 
apparent reason.

There was some mention of some changes to the driver, but didn't see if 
there was a resolution.
