I am using FreeBSD. Few months back I purchased the FreeBSD UNIX operating
system and I am able to install the system scucessfully. Then I created a
user. I am able to login without any problem. I used unix df command. I found
there is plenty of disk space available. But I am facing the following
problems :

1) I am not able to create any new files. I encountered the following error
while using vi editor and touch utility:

access denied.

2) I am not able to use SU command. When I tried to enter the system as Super
user
I am getting the following error:

Aug 24 19:42:44 myname/Kernel :PID 220 (SU), UID 0: exited on signal
segmentation fault.

This system co existing with windows 98. Unix is on seperate disk.

I need your technical assistance to solve the above mentioned problems. Your
prompt reply will help me.

You can reach me at the following email address:

Thanks & best regards
