My first question was to freebsd-questions, but now i think that is a multimedia issue. ls for /dev/dsp* shows: crw-rw-rw- 1 root wheel 0, 112 Dec 13 12:43 /dev/dsp0.0 skype says that is using /dev/dsp dmesg says: pcm0: mem 0xde300000-0xde303fff irq 22 at device 27.0 on pci0 pcm0: [ITHREAD] pcm0: pcm0: I am able to ear sound on many apps. mixer says: Mixer vol is currently set to 100:100 Mixer pcm is currently set to 100:100 Mixer mic is currently set to 0:0 Mixer rec is currently set to 50:50 But I can get no sound on skype with regular user. What should I do?
