Hello Doug, i am trying to use a SCSI-device which is not 100% scsi-compliant. (A Nokia Mediamaster Set-Top-Box). Until kernel 2.2.10 (aic7xxx.c version <= 5.1.10) the device gets recognised correctly and there arenīt any scsi related error messages. But with newer aic7xxx.c versions the boot process ends with end endless loop and boot msgs something like that: sg[0] ... have seen dataphase ... data length=255 ... blah blah The point is that the aic7xxx is sending/receiving a odd data length, but the Set-Box is only able to handle even data lengths. So could you please tell my the line in the sources where this data length is defined, so that i can build a patched kernel for my set-top-box?
