I'm not sure I understand.  How did you determine that I have 5 bpf
interfaces up and running, from the output I sent?

how many bpf devices does her kernel have ?
GENERIC comes with 4, you seems to be having 5 interfaces UP+RUNNING.
it becomes more strange since you said that it worked before buildworld...
