I've created a boot floppy using boot.flp file. Upon booting the machine I get the standard expected message: >> FreeBSD BOOT @ 0x10000: 640/15360 k of memory Use hd(1,a)/kernel to boot sd0 when wd0 is also installed. Usage: [[fd(0,a)]/kernel][-abcCdhrsv] Use ? fro file list or press Enter for defaults Boot: After waiting a few seconds the machine reboots itself and the same screen appears again, and again, and again ... Using the ? option or the -c options has proved to be useless. In fact typing anything is useless, since pressing enter starts the process over again with no change. Could you please give me some help as to where to go next. ######################################################################### # Beau Giles # Webmaster, Inc # # University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill # Class of 1996 # # beau@webmaster.com # "The only thing to fear is fearlessness." #########################################################################
