Synopsis: purple-remote can't communicate with Pidgin

State-Changed-From-To: open->closed

State-Changed-When: Mon Dec 1 21:33:49 UTC 2008
State-Changed-Why:
You need to run Pidgin and your purple-remote command inside the same D-Bus
session. It's easiest to do this by starting your X session with
dbus-launch, but you could also do:

dbus-launch xterm

Then, from that xterm:

pidgin&

Then, from that same xterm:

purple-remote "setstatus?status=away&message=test"
