I am installing Request Tracket and I get the following error (which is in no way related to RT, I think): Character set 'latin1' is not a compiled character set and is not specified in the '/usr/local/share/mysql/charsets/Index.xml' file Failed to connect to dbi:mysql:;host=localhost as user 'root': Can't initialize character set latin1 (path: /usr/local/share/mysql/charsets/)*** Error code 255 The Index.xml lists latin1 character set and even the file containing the charsets is there. I still don't think I should downgrade, but google isn't helping me much! -- Best regards, Odhiambo WASHINGTON, Nairobi,KE +254733744121/+254722743223 _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ Damn!!
