fontconfig-2.3.2_6,1
freetype2-2.2.1_1
gtk-2.10.6_1
pango-1.14.5

I am using MC ports tree that have GNOME 2.16.1.

I saw your two screenshots of gvim:

http://bugzilla.gnome.org/attachment.cgi?id=3D74149&action=3Dview
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/attachment.cgi?id=3D74150&action=3Dview

I don't get that when I ran 'LANG=3Duk_UA.UTF-8 gvim', which it displays=
  =

correct. Without set LANG, it shows mess up characters worst than your.

http://people.freebsd.org/~mezz/gvim-font.png (default setup of font, sa=
ns)
http://people.freebsd.org/~mezz/gvim-fonts.png (using three Bitstream =

fonts)

BTW: vim6-gtk2-6.4.9

Cheers,
